5k Race and 1-mile walk and fun run

2015 Kimmswick 5K raises $31,000 for The Nancy Ratliff Medical Fund & The ALS Association

Thanks so much for joining us for the 5th annual Kimmswick 5K. We had great weather, a great crowd, great energy and a great time!

We pulled all the numbers together, and we're happy to report that we raised over $31,000 for the Nancy Ratliff Medical Fund and The ALS Association St. Louis Chapter!

If you haven't seen them yet, you can check out the 1,000 photos from the race here and 200+ post-race photos here. And you can find the race results and course records under Results above.

We have so many people to thank for making the event a successful one:
Thanks to the over 500 participants who came out on a beautiful Saturday morning to run, walk, bid on silent auction items, buy raffle tickets and support a great cause.
Thanks to Mary and Kim Hostetter and The Blue Owl staff. Mary and Kim not only provide their venue and the pies for prizes, but also generously donate their time and resources in the months leading up to the race.
Thanks to the ALS Association St. Louis Chapter for being a wonderful partner for the past five years and for coming out to the race this year.
Thanks to Dan Gray for masterfully emceeing the event.
Thanks to Olympic triathlete Sarah Haskins for coming out to participate (i.e. dominate) and sign autographs and take photos.
Thanks to the St. Louis Cardinals for allowing Fredbird to fly the coop and come down to hang out with us.
Thanks to our dozens of volunteers, including many from the Windsor cross country team, members of the First Baptist Church of Arnold and The Blue Owl Restaurant and Bakery.
Thanks to the Jefferson County Sheriff's Department for blocking off the roads for us and keeping everyone safe.

Thanks to the
Rock Community Fire Department for coming out.

Thanks to the Farmington Air Evac Lifeteam for coming out -- even if it wasn't in your helicopter.
Thanks to Peak Nutrition for providing the first-place finishers with prizes and passing out free samples to the participants. Thanks to Arnold Rehab and Rehabilitation for providing free massages.
Thanks to the town of Kimmswick for having us all.
Thanks to our many friends and families who helped us.

And an extra special thanks to all of our sponsors, without whom the race would not be possible. Most of them are returning sponsors who have supported us over the years with not only monetary support but also time, resources and goods.
